Herrings in spicy marinade

  • 250 g of herring type matjas
  • Half a cup of oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 teaspoon spice to gingerbread
  • 3 tablespoons of vinegar
  • 4 cloves
  • 4 grains of allspice
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon of capers
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 large spoon of liquid honey

Herring is washed in cold water. We cut into smaller pieces and put in a jar.

Heat the oil in a small saucepan, fry the onions, add spices and finally vinegar and honey. We will study the whole.

Hatches are flooded with cold water and left for 24 hours in the refrigerator.
