“Jerk Chicken” – Jamaican Chicken

IngredientsPreparation
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 5 chili peppers or 1 habanero
  • 15 grains of English herb
  • 5 medium red onions
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon of thyme
  • 5 laurel leaves
  • 3 limes (peel + juice)
  • 3 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of black peppercorns
  • 1 flat spoon of salt
  • A bunch of coriander
  • 1 can of coconut milk
  • A glass of oil or oil

All well mixed (about 10min)

Marinate is about 2kg of chicken legs, wings or breast. Bake in a hot to 140-160 ° C oven about 40 minutes

Serve with yogurt or yogurt-cucumber dip. Sprinkle with chives.

A great addition to this dish is lemon rice, red lentil with coriander or grilled vegetables although young potatoes in yogurt are also great compositions
